Above Nicola Lake, British Columbia Travel
Dimps Horn, owner of Watch Lake Lodge at 70 Mile House in British Columbia’s South Cariboo, remembers growing up on the ranch.
Just a little off-road kicking around trying to find a place I used to go to more than 30yrs ago. Wasn’t successful but the scenery was beautiful, surprisingly green (June 25, 2015) considering the heatwave and lack of rain.
Monck Provincial Park
Set on the shore of Nicola Lake, Monck Provincial Park offers a wide assortment of recreational activities including camping, picnicking, swimming, fishing, boating, water-skiing, wind-surfing and hiking.
A very popular family-oriented campground in a hot, dry setting this park has very high use during the summer season.
